Will my website be responsive?

Mobile internet usage is the fastest growing market on the internet and tablet usage is fast overtaking PC’s for website access. Your website or newsletter will be designed to be mobile friendly and responsive, scaling down effectivley to which ever size the device the end user is accessing your project by accordingly.

I want to use a Content Management System but am unsure which one would suit my needs?

There’s no one-size-fits-all solution here; it depends on your goals, technical expertise, budget and what you need your site to do. You don’t want to pay for functionality you will never use, but you don’t want a content management system that doesn’t meet your requirements. Do you do redesigns?

We can certainly redesign, retaining your company’s brand style or redesign with a complete new image. We can also redesign your website to take advantage of the latest web technologies converting static websites to be fully dynamic or upgrading software to the latest industry standards.

Do you provide website mockups before I commit to a design?

We will take the information gathered in an initial interview process and develop the initial concepts for your design. Once we have your feedback about the initial concepts, we’ll begin refining the design and developing concepts for the interior pages of your site. You will have the chance to provide us with feedback before we finalize the designs and prepare for the development process. Mock ups can be provided for certain projects. I do not know any code... How will I be able to use my website after it is finished?

There are many different methods to update your site. The method you choose and the functionality we build into your website design will suit your needs and expertise accordingly. If you only wish to make changes, it could be cost effective to have us carry out these changes for you. Alternately, we can provide a content management system where you can either update individual products/pages/services or even particular sections of your website. We can also add databases if you wish.

Will everyone see my website the same way?

Visitors will see certain things differently depending on their browser, screen resolution and individual computer settings. To minimize differences, we design sites with that in mind and preview them in several browser types and resolution settings before publishing.

Can I have an e-mail address with my website?

Certainly, you can have an email address. You will probably wish you set-up several email addressed e.g. sales@your-domain.com and info@your-domain.com

Who much will my website cost?

The cost of a website varies depending on the style, size and complexity. A small web site with just a few pages will be less expensive than a full e-commerce website with a large number of pages and a CMS system.

Who owns the website/logo once the design is complete?

The design and code belongs to you. We keep a copy in our project management system as a backup, but all copyright belongs to you upon final invoice and hand off.

Is there any training for a Content Management System - CMS?

CMS have explanatory notes included where necessary. Moreover, we will run through the administration screens and basic functions with you when we design the site for you. We also provide individual tutorial videos, documentation and walkthroughs for each website designed and developed by James Tobias Creative
